Reality? Really?

Recently I have succumbed to some of these reality shows, for entertainment purposes only. Majority of these shows have no meaning, and are very pointless. Some may have validity, for promoting albums, clothing lines, or maybe trying to save people's lives. Yet some, like Basketball Wives which aired about 3 weeks ago, I still haven't comprehended the concept. The title itself would make one assume that the show is about the wives of current basketball players. However that is not the scenario, we have ex-girlfriends, so called groupie baby mama dancers, ex-fiancees, one wife(whose husband no longer plays ball) one who is engaged and the Executive Producer Shaunie O'Neal, who filed for separation from Cavs center Shaquille O'neal. The show just epics a bunch of woman, who were in these men's lives at one time, as the show does give these woman credit and seem to be doing their own thing. I will always praise anyone doing anything positive in their lives, accomplishing goals and dreams. I guess I will never understand why what was once  private and possibly intimate(because half or all these woman I have never heard of), become a stereotype that all men, or that matter these basketball players or any athlete are all the same. There are always two sides of a story. The ugly truth is, we can accept what's on the table, or walk away. Classy and sassy, obviously a trait this show lacks.
